Volunteer with us

Like to make a difference?

Volunteering gives you the chance to make a real, lasting difference in someone’s life. Carers often spend so much time looking after others that their own needs are overlooked. By giving your time, you help remind them that they matter too and that they’re not facing things alone.

Your support can have an immediate impact. Whether you’re offering a friendly chat, helping at a group, supporting an event, or lending a hand behind the scenes, what you do can ease pressure and lift someone’s day. For many carers, even a small moment of understanding can mean a great deal.

You’ll also gain a lot in return. Volunteering helps you connect with people from all walks of life and become part of a supportive, caring community. Many volunteers find it boosts their confidence, gives them a renewed sense of purpose, and helps them develop valuable skills that carry into everyday life and work.

Most importantly, you’ll know your time is being used where it truly matters. You’ll be supporting the people who quietly hold families together and keep communities running. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back, volunteering with us is a powerful way to make a difference, for carers, and for you.

Volunteering with Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust has given me the opportunity to do things I wouldn’t normally do. I really enjoy meeting new people as part of my volunteer work and it’s nice to be able to give something back and feel like I’m helping to make a difference.
