About Us
Our Story
.avif)
Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust was established in Northwich in 1994 to support carers with information, advice and support, initially in the Vale Royal borough of Cheshire.
In 2000 we expanded our area of support to the whole of Cheshire and again in 2013 to include services in Warrington.
We are a small local charity with a local staff and volunteer base working from Northwich, Chester and Crewe offering one to one appointments and group sessions, outreach groups and telephone support. We offer carers opportunities to meet each other for mutual support and to increase networks of support, as well as gain information and confidence.
We are the lead provider for the Better Together for Carers and the Community service in Cheshire West and Chester and also offer several other services across our area, which vary in line with the funding we receive.
We are a network partner of Carers Trust nationally and have links with other local support services and organisations.
All of our services are free. Donations are very welcomed to allow us to sustain our services and support.
