Carers Rights Day - Cheshire East

Carers Rights Day is coming up soon, on Thursday 19th November. The 2026 campaign concentrates on helping people recognise sooner that they are unpaid carers. Millions of people look after a partner, family member, friend, or neighbor who is older, disabled, or chronically ill, yet they often view themselves strictly as a relative or friend rather than a carer. Identifying as a carer early helps people access vital financial help, workplace rights, and support services before reaching a crisis point.
